GM to cut 30,00 Jobs!!!

Now there are WAY more GM employees in Canada. See, up there they don't have to furnish health benefits to employees. That's one big factor, but perhaps another is that the U.S. automakers are woefully behind in the hybrid market. Ford talks about some S.U.V. that will run on pure ethanol, yet no U.S. automakers has products with gas mileage anywhere close to that of Honda and Toyota.

Ethanol would be an o.k. fuel if they didn't have to grow so much corn to produce it. If it were 100 percent ethanol, it would take a vast amount of biomass to produce it.
