RMNP on road to become wilderness area...

Senators Allard and Salazar teamed up as well as Reps Udall and Tancredo to craft this bill halting further development of Rocky Mountain National Park. That's good. Now why can't Congress perform in this manner when it comes to major legislation for Iraq and Immigration??? Of course they probably will craft some kind of bill for Immigration as the President and Democrats are in agreement on that. Unfortunately, the Immigration bill should be two bills: border security first and dealing with the people already here second.

Getting back to RMNP, I'll have to visit sometime. It's not a bad drive up there and the National Parks are a bargain. I just hope that with all the countries' obligations that they can find ways to protect the national treasures. Estes Park is a nice town for a tourist town, but is a bit too crowded in summer.
