Goodbye Cindy Sheehan...

Wow, talk about nasty abuse that this woman has gotten! While some would say her leaving statement (sorry, it was supposedly on "The Daily Cos", but I can't find it) was sour grapes, I certainly understand her frustration. Many of the right-wingers are stuck in this mindset of "us against them" and flame anyone that does not agree. I am not really on either side, just want us to find a responsible way out. But with all the mistakes which have been made, I can sympathize with Cindy. To promote a cause in this country, you need to get media attention, so that term "attention whore" could be applied to many right wing people as well. What is one supposed to do? If you believe in a cause, promoting it often means public visibility.
