Carter Irrelevant?

The White House responds to Jimmy Carter's criticism of the Bush Administration by calling him "increasingly irrelevant". Granted, it was in poor taste to pile on the growing heap of Bush bashers for an ex-President. And yes, Carter is rather irrelevant. Many people percieved his own administration as ineffective. Bill Clinton occasionaly takes a swipe at Bush, but is also doing some important work with aids charaties.

This is not to say there is not quite a bit of truth in what Carter said. Exactly where the Bush Administration ends up in history will depend upon the final year, 2008. It is pretty much my conclusion that history will NOT be kind to this President. I'd root for the S.O.B. to go down in flames, but I'm afraid he'll bring the whole world with him!

Not that I'm all that crazy about anyone currently running for the job, but IS IT 2008 YET????
