All I want for Christmas...

Is for my friend Steve to survive. That's all. Of course I'd love it if he wouldn't have to go on dialysis perminently, but if he does, this is better than nothing!!! Gawd, I wish they'd get him started and take some water off. And what is up with this business of getting admitted through the E.R.??? Why can't they just set up an appointment to put in a central line and then dialyze him???

All this drives home a point about our public healthcare system... Not good!
