He's free!

What else could be so uplifting as to hear that the captain got away from his captors who took him on a lifeboat from the ship they attempted to hijack?   Captain Phillips of the Maersk lines ship Alabama was rescued after hours of attempted negotiations.  What more noble thing could one do, but offer yourself as a hostage to free your ship.  Then, the brave actions of Navy Seals, secured his release.  Three of the "pirates" were shot, whereas one was taken aboard the ship to negotiate.

I'm sorry people had to die, but clearly this happens at a good time, when American self-esteem needs a boost.   It will be interesting to see how the captive man from Somalia is tried for his crimes.  It is ironic that this ship was full of food aid FOR people in Somalia!
