Not good!

It's amazing the mess a few nuts can cause. Look, there's a lot of people in Latin America that don't like Bush. But why destroy your own country? I understand there were peaceful protesters a few blocks away, but nobody cares about them. The riot police, the smashed windows and smoke caught the camera's eye.

I'm with Bush on expanding a hemispheric trade zone, but I think there are a lot of relationships to be mended before we can do that. We turned our eyes away from this hemisphere to focus on the Middle East, yet lots of oil comes from places like Venezuela. But it's about a lot more than oil! These countries, particularly Mexico, are our neighbors! Think of how much more secure our country would be if we had a true "good neighbor policy" and helped Mexico along with other Latin American countries attain a better standard of living. That's the way to secure the borders!
