The Supreme Court gets involved...

NEWS ALERT: Supreme Court agrees to consider forcing the Bush administration to regulate carbon dioxide, a gas linked to climate change, from motor vehicles.

While I would cry "Judicial Activism" on almost any other topic, this is one topic where I would LOVE for them to force the Administration to get off it's butt. I just feel that it would be more appropriate for the Congress to write legislation and then have Bush sign it. If he does not sign then they should override his veto.

It would probably be more along the lines of the Constitution for them to decline taking action on this. THAT sends the wrong message. Civilization is WAY late taking action. The Bush Administration has sat on it's hands. Light a fire under them!
